Today was the day that CAB told me Blair, Oliver and Scott were ruthless and 'always right' and not to get in bother with them (they had a debt of mine once but just kept it and passed it on to another DCA)!

Our comment: It would seem that Blair Oliver And Scott are one of those DCAs who enjoy selling the debt to other DCAs, or at least passing it round. This helps to muddy the waters and confuse matters, of course. Especially useful if the debt collector concerned knows that they haven't got a chance in hell in getting hold of the original documentation, so they may as well try the old scare or confusion tactics.
